The seemingly endless corridors and vast halls of the SF Armory may provide amazing backdrops and sets, but the marble, concrete and brick that make these spaces so beautiful has unfortunately wreaked havoc on the sound quality of Kink.com's movies. So Technical Production Manager Jeremy, along with members of the Art, Production and Facilities teams, set out to identify and solve these audio problems so that every scene shot at Kink.com can sound as good as it looks.

When he isn't hard at work keeping the IT department on track, Kink.com's Chief Technology Officer Daniel is also an enthusiastic photographer with a keen interest in fetish-oriented subject matter. On a recent weekend, he brought together several of his friends for an intimate photo shoot in the Armory's basement. But the focus of the shoot wasn't bondage and domination as you might expect; it was the unique and edgy fetish known as 'body piercing,' in which someone is hung in a suspension by hooks in their flesh. Historically practiced for spiritual or religious reasons, today, suspensions of this kind are often done for aesthetic or erotic satisfaction, or as a form of mental and physical discipline.
