Intimate Portrait of a Man’s Journey into Sadomasochism
Thursday, January 15th, 2009
Stigma is a Kink.com Editor/Photographer/Assistant — or EPA —
which means he's a jack-of-all trades par excellence. Our EPAs
are the veritable backbone of Kink.com. They boast dozens of duties from
editing video and shooting professional quality photos to washing dildos
and carrying heavy equipment up and down the Armory's many flights of
stairs. EPAs move fast and they learn faster, picking up new talents as
they get down-and-dirty with the complicated tasks of producing fetish
entertainment. Shortly after he started here, Stigma realized that his
job at Kink was teaching him much more than just practical skills. He
decided that he wanted to take his education one step further, and
became an apprentice rigger, a top-in-training and, ultimately, an
onscreen submissive.
Stigma opens up to Behind Kink, candidly sharing his philosophies on pleasure and pain and how he has previously chosen to explore his 'sadomasochistic' side — the term itself being completely foreign to him until he began working at Kink.com. Having finally found the words to describe what had always been inside him, Stigma wasted no time diving head first into a world of physical and mental exploration, that eventually led him to his recent debut on MenInPain.com, as a willing victim of the beautiful and sadistic Princess Donna. What results is an intimate portrait of a man on a profound journey, acquiring powerful insight about his body, mind and the world around him, as he pursues his dream of becoming a rigger and director.
